Veteran actor Krishnam Raju passed away today early in the morning. Krishnam Raju’s death news has been confirmed Sunday at 3:30. He was being treated in a private hospital of Hyderabad, India. Tollywood actor Krishnam Raju was also famous with the name “Rebel Star”.He was the paternal uncle of Bahubali fame Prabhas. This is a very sad day for Tollywood Movie Industry.

Who was Krishnam Raju?

He was a senior Indian (Veteran) Actor. He was a well know and shining star in Tollywood. He opened his eyes in Mogalturu, West Godavari in 1940. He was also a former member of Lok Sabha from Naraspuram Constituencies. He was a two-time member of Lok Sabha from Kakinada as well. Krishnam Raju also worked as the Union Minster of state. He died at the age of 82. He was famous as “Rebel Star”

Krishnam Raju Career

He Started his career at an early age and he took it very seriously. At the early age of his career, he debuted in ” Chilaka Gorinka” in 1966. here it was the beginning of this future star. He started playing some roles and supporting characters at an early age in his career. Till 1970, he became a leading star in Telugu Film Industry (Tollywood).

in 1974, He did a movie named Krishnaveni that was a life-changing movie. After this, he did a lot of movies were Amara Deepam, Rangon Rowdy, Bava Bavamaridi, Mana Voori Pandavulu, Bhakta Kanapa, etc. All these movies were super and they made him one of the top stars in Tollywood.

He played mostly Velen’s role in many movies and he was well known for it as well. He did “Rebel”, “Ram” and “Radhe Shyam” in 2000s. He totally did 190 Films in his whole movie career. This was very amazing.

He was so talented and got many rewards from Tollywood but he got Best Actor Nandi Awards for his Movies “Bobbili Brahamana” and “Amara Deepan”. He won 5 Filmfare Awards South and 3 State Nandi Awards.

He had a very happy family. His wife’s name was Shyamala Devi Krishnam. He had three daughters.
